JOY EVERLASTING
Joy also looks forward. That is to
say, the people of God experience joy in their lives regardless of the present
circumstance because they look forward to the time when they will be directly
in the presence of the Lord (Psalm 16; Isaiah 61; 65:17-25). Read Isaiah 12 and
discuss the following:

To what “day” does Isaiah refer in 12:1?

Why does Isaiah rejoice when he considers that
day? What has God done that inspires Isaiah so much?

When does that “day” dawn?
